![]() The problem for me with Shark's Tooth is that so many of the holes seemed similar. The tee shot is hard enough, but the second shot - a forced carry over a wetland - really makes judging how far to hit it problematic, as the fairway runs horizontally and is littered with bunkers. The par-5 sixth hole is one of the toughest holes I've ever played. The 13th, 14th and 15th holes were my favorite stretch. Usually this makes for prized real estate, but five fairways border the lake and two holes play to the lake. ![]() Interestingly, in a move that goes against the thought process of most Florida residential courses, Norman was given some prime waterfront to work with. I thought the strength of the course lies in the holes around Lake Powell. I suspect this is mainly because it is an Audubon International sanctuary. I liked the minimalist approach Greg Norman used. The first thing I noticed is that what I had heard was true - there were very few players on the course. ![]() I had the opportunity to play here as part of a vacation rental and was looking forward to it because I had heard so much about it for several years. ![]()
